I feel that Fedora “Moonshine” 7, is now trying to impress me with its package power and ease of usability
.
Initially, driving me against the wall trying an upgrade and 5-6 installations and re-installations, i kind of feel that the effort is getting paid(24hrs is what it took me for a proper working installation given the goof-ups that i made… we needn’t talk about that do we???
)
First it was the speed with which apps loaded as compared to Fedora “Zod” 6.
Second no longer are all the items cluttered under one single menu. Remember how all the System utilities and apps was under one menu called Administration, its all organized neatly and you will now know where to look for what.
I dont know if it was me alone, i had a hell of a time getting my laptop to connect with my home wifi-network with Fedora 6. But hey wait, Fedora 7 just did it for me.
All together i’m kind of starting to love Moonshine. She will stay for some more time as i’m scrapping the idea of migrating to Ubuntu Feisty Fawn 7.04
