HITMAN – HITherto MANiac movie …

200px Hitman2 large HITMAN HITherto MANiac movie ...I’m a huge fan of Agent 47 and the Hitman Series of games. Being so the movie was like facing the firing squad, firing needles at you. You die a rather painful death with thousands of needs piercing you. You dont die in the first 2 shots. They keep on firing till they make sure that you are dead. Its a slow and painful death. But i clearly understand that saying so is a total understatement for the whole ordeal of watching the movie.

The only point where the movie scores is in the way some scenes made me feel like i was seeing Agent 47. But i still dont agree to the notion of having Timothy Olyphant playing Agent 47. I would have rather preferred Jason Statham to play the role.

47 being a completely focussed assassin, is seen in the movie making love… By the time the movie ends you feel like somebody just fast forwarded all the games right in front of you eyes.

The scenes where he is sitting against a red-neon board on top of a building, sniping, 47 standing on top a building with the gun raised and many more scenes.

Did you even watch this movie or did you just watch the preview and write a half assed review based on what other “critics” said?

There is absolutely no love making in this movie.

While I wanted more from this movie as far as Agent 47′s origens and more depth as far as the connection between the church and the Agency, I think Timothy Olyphant brought his own feel to the part which I was able to appreciate and enjoy. I, at first, did not agree with his casting myself. However, though I like Jason Statham very much, I think if he had been cast, it would have simply been The Transporter with a Hitman skin slapped on it as he doesn’t really have much acting range.

Phienyx, i saw the movie and the review is not after reading someone else’s.

Well pardon me, what should i think of the scene where She pushes him on to the bed. He is staying still. She climbs on top of him. At the theater after this its a black screen for a sec and then the movie resumes. Pardon me that is a scene.

HITMAN is emotion less and he is showing emotion in the movie.

Please do watch the uncut version of the movie and we will hav a debate after that.

As with the choice of Jason Statham and Timothy Olyphant, its more of a personal choice that me and my friends had. The day Transporter was out, we said he looks like Agent 47. As far Agent 47 is considered, u dont need any emotions. Just be stone cold and thats what Jason Statham had done in Transporter.

I don’t know what kind of bootleg version of the movie you saw, but I saw this movie twice in the theatre. There was no “black screen for a sec”. During the scene in question, Agent 47 was very uncomfortable with was was going on and told her quite clearly that it was a bad idea for her to be doing what she was doing. The very point of that scene was to show how emotionless he was and how unequipt he was to handle that situation normally because he got out of it the only way he knew. He hit her with a dose of knock-out agent from one of his syringes. After which he unceremoniously pushed her off of him and went out for his next mission.

The only scene where I can see that he showed any real emotion was when he got upset that she was interferring with his calculated procedure.

See the movie again and point out to me a scene where he showed any real emotion.
