Nowadays women can choose (sorry for generalizing) what to wear - that's the only difference from those amarchitrakadha walis. This post need much more comments than this. Why didn't it happen? Nice! (added a sarcasm tag :) ) My only point was that, if the Senappl never had any issues with the amar chitra kathas printing like that, and the temple sculptures, then they shouldn't be creating a fuss about the way women are dressed ..
