HITMAN - HITherto MANiac movie …

200px-Hitman2_large HITMAN - HITherto MANiac movie ...I’m a huge fan of Agent 47 and the Hitman Series of games. Being so the movie was like facing the firing squad, firing needles at you. You die a rather painful death with thousands of needs piercing you. You dont die in the first 2 shots. They keep on firing till they make sure that you are dead. Its a slow and painful death. But i clearly understand that saying so is a total understatement for the whole ordeal of watching the movie.

The only point where the movie scores is in the way some scenes made me feel like i was seeing Agent 47. But i still dont agree to the notion of having Timothy Olyphant playing Agent 47. I would have rather preferred Jason Statham to play the role.

47 being a completely focussed assassin, is seen in the movie making love… By the time the movie ends you feel like somebody just fast forwarded all the games right in front of you eyes.

HMB_gallery_wall01_1280x1024 HITMAN - HITherto MANiac movie ...Certain scenes are classic ripoff of the game, not game-play, but scenes of game. The scenes where he is sitting against a red-neon board on top of a building, sniping, 47 standing on top a building with the gun raised and many more scenes.

The real 47 wins …

Barcamp Bangalore - Day 1 - Post Lunch Session

Barcamp Bangalore - Day 1 - Post Lunch SessionThe bloggers collective has started at the L21 room (Cappuccino).

Amit Agarwal - Digital Inspirations, is talking on monetizing blogs. He is having no slides, no laptop, no geeky gadget, just talking. He is the first professional blogger in India.

So one advice from him - don’t use TextLinks in you blog as it wont help you in the long run. Rather than reblogging, write an original stuff at least once in a while, coz reblogging and linking will make people leave your site and go after the original stuff.

Barcamp Bangalore - Day 1 - Post Lunch Session

People are just walking into the collective and the strength is building up.

Now amit is getting swarmed with questions… :)
And i’m still looking for the 2 guys who approached me b4 lunch for the blog review.
:D

Back after ONAM

Jerry Posted in Celebrations, Computer games, Cultures, Fun 1 Comment »

festival-onam Back after ONAMThe foto looks really good, though nothing of that sort was happening at my home. I did had a nice time, well not that much dad was down with fever for the whole week and half the fun was lost.

Mom made excellent food, most of the time i was at home.

Well that doesnt mean that i didnt had fun. I played Grand TheftGTASABOX Back after ONAM Auto: San Andreas, the whole time .. for a whole week, even an hour before i was supposed to catch my bus back to Bangalore.

Its an excellent game and the only sad part is that i cant play it here, i have to go home .. :(

It was a form of language based on english developed so that the ‘elite’ geeks can have their way around on chats …

Now talking about the Programming Language. Here is something ripped off right from the site which, errr explains almost everything needed.

l33t is an esoteric language based loosely on BrainF***, and influenced by Beatnik. Like other languages of its ilk, it was designed to be as brain-melting as possible to code in whilst still being Turing complete. The language has some interesting distinguishing features, such as the possibility for self-modifying code and for connectivity - it’s theoretically possible to use it to write viruses and other such antisocial software but the actual logistics of trying to write such a program put it well beyond the cognitive capabilities of the average script kiddie. Look here for the full language specification, here for some sample programs, and here for some interpreters and links to related sites.

1ph +#4= \X/a$ /\/0+ 3/\/0(_)6#, The following is the first ever functioning program written in l33t. It loops forever, printing all 255 ASCII characters, and takes the form of a short insulting rant about geeks:

Good news for internet addicts

Jerry Posted in Computer and Internet, Computer games, Fun, Geekiness, News and politics, Science and Tech. No Comments »

0,,5600557,00 Good news for internet addicts Here is some good news for all the hardcore gamers and internet addicts.

If you are an addict and want a therapy, all you need to do is fly to china.

Here is the news from Herald Sun -Camp to cure internet “addicts”

The experimental 10-day program would accept youngsters aged between 14 - 22 once they had undergone a psychological test and evaluation, the China Daily said.

About 2.6 million - or 13 per cent - of China’s 20 million internet users under 18 were classed as addicts, it said.

The 40 youngsters at the summer camp would be treated for depression, fear, unwillingness to interact with others, panic and agitation.

Sounds very promising indeed
