Department of Sainik Welfare and Resettlement - A Shame!!!

Jerry Posted in Crime, India, Media, Nation 2 Comments »

I was shocked to see this advt. from the Dec 5th edition of The Times of India.

SainikWelfare

If you are still wondering what’s wrong with the advt. Look at the soldiers. They are not even Indian. They are bloody US Maries sporting M4 Carbine. Even the tank that they show is not one that used by the Indian Army.

The so called Sainik Welfare people from Karnataka, Salute the World’s best Armed Forces and puts up US soldiers pic. If they cant get their advts right, i have no idea what they are so proud of. I wish they were among the ones killed in Mumbai.

Shame!!!

Indian Premier League, The Commercialized Monstrosity

Jerry Posted in Cricket, Crime, Entertainment, ICL, IPL, India, Nation, Rubbish, Sport, Town & City Life, Twenty20, stupidity 2 Comments »

200px-Ipl_logo_new Indian Premier League, The Commercialized MonstrosityI have nothing against cricket as a sport. But the way it is over commercialized is what i hate. And for that reasons IPL or the Indian Premier League.

Cricket is getting an unwanted publicity in India and this is not the way it is. But sadly it is. Having cricket matches are fine, but letting them spend billions just for a game, is that ever justified? But why billions, that too in a country when an average man is struggling to make his ends meet.

Ads, campaigns, publicity stunts. Do we need all these? Does the real spirit of the game still exist under such monstrosity? They play the game. Get paid handsomely and goes home. What happens to the poor common man who came to watch the matches and the others alike? The game is generating the wrong kind of passion among fans and followers. The sooner we realize this we can save the game and the future of the other games as well.

Already people have started to experience the headaches of IPL. Right now as i type, people are complaining that there is a huge traffic at MG Road, Bangalore, close to the stadium where the match is underway. IPL site is down too(good). The only good thing about the whole IPL match is that, my manager has left early for the day and now i can sit and blog for the rest of the evening. The whole office looks very much deserted.

Will IPL ever pay for the loss in business and damages. The people who ‘owns’ the team has already confirmed that they are in loss. Huge loss in money, time, business and rest of the balance sheet will follow soon.

Why couldnt they just support the ICL? Not to mention the ICL finals was as gripping as the T20 Finals.

Bollywood Leech

Jerry Posted in Art, Crime, Cultures, Entertainment, Law and Order, Movie, Nation 4 Comments »

200px-Krazzy4 Bollywood LeechBollywood has become like a blood-sucking leech. It feeds on the creativity of others. Earns on their blood. There are far less original works that what it used to be.  At times we are creative in making the worst movies ever. We steal plots, dialogues, music and everything possible and shamelessly portray it as one’s own without even crediting the original maker.

Rakesh Roshan’s Krazzy 4 punished under the law for plagiarizing, was beyond any doubt a happy moment for me. It was brave enough for Mr. Sampath to fight for the cause. Partner lifted off Hitch’s plot and Sony came on heavy on the producers. But what happened after that is still a mystery. People among us came outright and told that they don’t care even if the Partner plot was lifted because it was entertaining.

Last day i was mentioning to my friend that the trailers looks like its a remake of an old the Malayalam movie. And guess what i was right. Wikipedia states that it is a remake of the late 1980’s malayalam movie “Mukkilla Rajyathu“. Embarrasingly enough malayalis had got into the business of plagiarism long before bollywood. The movie was lifted off the 1989 English movie The Dream Team.

All we can debate when a movie comes out is that which actor is better than the other? The gossips surrounding the heroines. But do we really care if the movie or the song is lifted off from some unsuspecting individual. Apparently the music director Anu Malik, the self proclaimed Mozart of the East, would go bankrupt if people start approaching the law for the tunes that he has lifted.

I don’t understand, what do they lose if they credit someone of the original plot? Least said 90% of the indian movie goers dont care where the plot came from originally.

Breasts of Confidence

Jerry Posted in Crime, Cultures, Gender, Law and Order, Love, Men, Sexs, Town & City Life, Women 1 Comment »

The mammary glads of the female has been of high liking for the male. Apart from being the source of nourishment for the young Homo-sapiens, it’s been the single most admired part or may be for all the wrong reasons these days.Think women and the picture that most of us get is of a lady with well-formed breasts, rarely do we picture buts …

But have we ever thought about the women who are born with those flirtatious breasts? “Kya thumhare ghar pe maa bahan nahi hai?” (Don’t yoBREASTS MAKETH A WOMAN? Even Mallika Sherawat now says that she is sick of her breasts. u have your mom and sister at home?), at times stands as the testament to the frustration of a lady. May be thinking on the women’s perspective CNN-IBN carried a news on whether or not bigger breasts mean higher confidence. Interestingly they conclude that augmentations can lead to a tripled suicide rate in women. This was the image that was carried along with the report they had (ooohhhh!!!)

So does that mean a man-chest-er-united female cant do nothing about her appearance. Does she always have to have a tripled suicide condition to be accepted as a normal person and not be the point of ridicule by the Male? Do all women should be blessed by God to have a handful, so that she can lead a, errr… normal life?200px-Tashan_Poster Breasts of Confidence

What does the so called Male has to offer? Are all of them so macho and hunks like the guy in the Gillette advt.? If women start Adam-teasing its guaranteed that 90% of the men are going to stay indoors and never come out of shame. The roads will be rid of all the law enforcers with their bellies bigger than my bike’s tank.

So what does the skinny Kareena in Tashan have to say? What was that Saif’s advice? Does that gain her more confidence (to expose) or reduce her over-confidence on screen.? What ever may that be she hell can’t act!!!
