At the Registration Desk

The year of the Agent 007 … and i just loved this cartoon in Times of India … So started my 07-07-07.

Success !!! Failure !!! Destiny!!! 3-7 letter words summing it up.
I saw fools preaching about conservation by running a 24hr concert
I read about some sexually frustrated Muslim leader putting a fatwa against teenage girls and boys studying together.
I started to hate the Muslims, the Christians and the Hindus … all of them are ass-holes …
I decided to accept my Manager the way he is.
I’m reassured that MONEY is everything, love comes in automatically when MONEY comes.
In 7 minutes me and my friends found out that the girl that our friend loves, has her status as ‘Commited’ in orkut and in another 7 min found that its not him, and he came to know about that 7×2 hrs before we found out.
I started configuring SAMBA server after 7 days and found that i’m horribly lazy and fell asleep in front of the system
I learned that i’m nothing and there’s a lot of distance for me to go
I was only fortunate to listen to the song ‘What I’ve Done’ of the new Linkin Park album Minutes To Midnight before i bought it last saturday. I wouldnt have bought it if it wasnt for the music store to play the cd there.
I was just listening to songs, doing a lill tapping on the floor by myself and doing a bit of head banging… i just simply loved the songs. I couldnt figure out that the songs were played by LP as they sounded so different from their previous albums. I actually walked up to the counter and asked them, is that LP.
Next thing i knew, i was buying the CD.
My advice to you – get the original cd, its worth the investment
The first track “Wake” – gives a feel on what the whole album is about and the intro has been nicely done. 5 start for that …
“Given Up”, is super cool and its one song that i listen to often and has that LP touch with a difference.
3rd track “Leave Out All The Rest”, is a slow but a good to listen to, its not the regular LP song. Its one song to look out for.
“Bleed It Out” is among my favorite, “Shadow Of The Day” has a lot of meaning, among all the songs the most mis-understood or as some claim as a copy of MJ’s Earth Song, is “What I’ve Done”. Yes the theme is similar but, come on!!!, dont compare the two. “What I’ve Done” is a LP flick …
“Hands Held High”, a rap slow song, nice one, but i didnt enjoy this one much.
“No More Sorrow”, lots of heavy drums and excellent guitar play, a must listen one. A definite head-banger track.
“Valentine’s Day”, “In Between”, “In Pieces” and “The Little Things Give You Away” are slow numbers, i havent listened to these songs much, may be once or twice. Its mainly because of the first tracks that i was mentioning about. They are simply awesome …
So my fav ones are : Wake, Given Up, Bleed It Out, Shadow Of The Day, What I’ve Done, and No More Sorrow…

First look at Sivaji … The crowd seen is the one at PVR Cinemas at Forum Mall, Bangalore. The movie has release with much hype and the initial reports say that it lives up to the expectations and even delivers much more.
News papers report that, 10 days of ticket sold out within 2hrs in Chennai. At Bangalore an IT company booked 75 seats for approx. Rs. 68k for its employees.
At my company, an employee went all the way to the next town at 6 A.M. to watch the movie, his manager was in a shock on hearing this… and the news keeps flowing in …
I guess i will watch it next month, as i see no way of getting tickets…

All of a sudden this video makes a lot of sense to me … “What goes around… Comes around – Justin Timberlake”
