Iron Man – A Must Watch

200px Robert Downey as Iron Man Iron Man A Must WatchAnd at times there is a movie like Iron Man. Its just made to entertain with no unnecessary detail and you feel, ‘WOW!!!’ and talk about it with your friends for days.

I bet that, Iron Man is a must watch movie for all movie buffs. There has been a lot of Superhero stuffs made into movies, but i can bet that this one is different. There was a feeling of freshness all though the movie. The jokes were no mere gimmicks to make people laugh, they were well woven into the movie and into the character.

Robert Downey Jr. has done absolute justice to his character. He plays Tony Stark / Iron Man. He doesn’t behave like the way you expect the character to do in any other movie. The character is close to being perfect in all ways. And is funny in its own ways.

Tony Stark reminds me of all the IT employees out there. Lost in their own world, personal relationships are in a mess, doesn’t care the way them money is spend and at the end of the day someone else reaps the fruits of their toil.

Call it a total Entertainer…

The HITMAN Confession

200px Hitman2 large The HITMAN Confession

In my previous post, where i reviewed HITMAN, the movie, i had stated that -

47 being a completely focussed assassin, is seen in the movie making love… By the time the movie ends you feel like somebody just fast forwarded all the games right in front of you eyes.

and Phienyx outrightly refuted that. And i jumped in to say i was right and then he replied .. yada yada yada ..

So the fact is – Phienyx was right!!! I watched the movie in a theater and the whole scene was censored. Last day i saw the ‘uncut’ version of the movie and what he said was right. Agent 47 was indeed emotion less.

Apologies for the wrong statement in the review… icon lol The HITMAN Confession

iPhone : The Untold Story

ff iphone3 630 iPhone : The Untold Story

Wired.com has this article : The Untold Story: How the iPhone Blew Up the Wireless Industry.
Truly its the Untold Story on how iPhone took over the mobile industry and made the fellow competitors run for their money.

The demo was not going well.
Again.

It was a late morning in the fall of 2006. Almost a year earlier, Steve Jobs had tasked about 200 of Apple’s top engineers with creating the iPhone. Yet here, in Apple’s boardroom, it was clear that the prototype was still a disaster. It wasn’t just buggy, it flat-out didn’t work. The phone dropped calls constantly, the battery stopped charging before it was full, data and applications routinely became corrupted and unusable. The list of problems seemed endless. At the end of the demo, Jobs fixed the dozen or so people in the room with a level stare and said, “We don’t have a product yet.”

07 – India – 08 Report

capt.2a2fe2d41111060b1d9f6c16ff3f5a55 07 India 08 Report2007, India turned 60 and yet She has the vigor and sensuality of a 16 year old. She still has the tenacity and the power to indulge herself in anything. Indians have grown at a tremendous pace in the last 5 years.

2007 bids good bye with the threat of another election looming at large. The Nuclear deal with US is proving to be a bit costly for the Indian National Congress lead UPA Govt. With Gujarat and Himachal polls suggesting that Congress rule at the center is loosing steam, they cant afford to go on an early election. BJP did it and they lost. The question of aam aadmi, is likely to prove costly for INC. There are enough over-the-teacup discussions on politics, lets move on..2006 05 08T132447Z 01 NOOTR RTRIDSP 2 OUKWD UK INDIA ELECTION 07 India 08 Report

In the name of GOD, still proves to be a hindrance in development process, with politicos going to the extend of deliberately forgetting the fact about a Secular state. Wounds of past events are kept fresh. The sad part is that, even the highly educated people fall for such roadblocks. Education is still not able to curb the differences. Yes the literacy rate is up for the Nation from approx 52% in 1991 to 65% in the 2001 census. But yet we heard about infanticide in some of our modern cities.

I Am Legend – Review

I am legend teaser I Am Legend ReviewThought i already reviewed the Movie… But as it turns out i reviewed it only in my head (like everything else it was in my head… which includes my secret love for this girl in office…) and i forgot to post it here.

I Am Legend, the first half of the movie was totally Will Smith and his dog. He is a talented actor beyond any questioning and he kept me right at the seat’s edge. But the later half turned out to be sort of a disappointment. The makers of the movie just seemed to run out of money and they just finished the movie in a click. Just like that. The only thing that stood apart was the theme and Smith’s acting.

This review by my friend Arun (simply sophisticated) will explain the rest. Clearly he wasnt pleased by the whole thing.

I am legend ??

The movie opens with a news clip showing a mad scientist boasting of finding a cure to cancer by “reprogramming a virus” (how lame could that be… but wait the movie gets lamer every minute)… haan so where were we… yeah she grins all the time expecting a Nobel for her miracle virus. Fast forward 3 years… every human is dead except for our MAN… Willy is the only dude alive on this planet !!!! … (read on …)
