I have no idea what was going through my mind when i went to the theater on Wednesday and booked tickets for Thursday 10pm show of Breach. I remember getting the ticket in hand and waking up to tell the cashier, “I’m sorry, it was a big goof up , i dont remember what i was thinking when i took this ticket, can you take it back and give it for another show?”. “Sorry sir no cancellations!!!”.
Aarrgggghhhhh!!! I definitely remember “HITMAN”, “BEOWULF” and “I AM LEGEND”, playing tricks in my head and making me confused as to which film should i watch first. But
BREACH??? How the hell did i ??? This is what i say as a total state of being mind-fucked situation.
I remember waking up today and thinking, “Did i get a ticket or what??? What was i thinking ???”. My friends had a good laugh. Before i left for the movie, while having dinner, i told them, i have this one ticket for the movie Breach and i’m going for it. “Who’s starring???”, “I dont know”. “Whats the plot about?”, “I dont know!!!” and they had a good laugh.
As usual, i was well before time for the movie, just lets say 45min. What should i do? Why waste time? Off i go to the ticket kiosk, trust me its way better than the Bangalore Municipality kiosks, and voila!!! Tickets for HITMAN, for Friday 8pm show. In no time i have ticket for another movie in hand. Suddenly i realize i’m going for movies alone these days. Who cares, No Girlfriend means, Nine troubles LESS!!!
So the movie finally started and boy i was in for a surprise. Its a good movie. Good is an understatement, its a pretty damn good movie.
A wannabe FBI agent Eric O’Neill, goes undercover to catch a top ranking FBI agent Robert Hanssen, who apparently is the biggest spy the US ever had against them. Based on a true story, the movie unfolds as master piece of its own. Plots, twists, turns and an excellent job by the cast. Enough scenes to put you to the edge of your seat.
IF you loved Bourne series, The Recruit, Enemy of the State and such conspiracy movies then this is one movie that you WILL enjoy.
It was a refreshing movie after all. Go watch it…
